Soviet Heritage of Transnistria and Castle Mimi Winery
About This Experience
Transnistria has preserved a lot of Soviet monuments, equipment, attractive places and facts that will be interesting for everyone to learn. Visiting Transnistria is like traveling on a time machine – not much has changed there since nowadays. The cities of Bender and Tiraspol, keep many soviet monuments, with a specific architecture. You should come to Transnistria especially if you’re from a country that was never a part of the Soviet Bloc or controlled by it. At Mimi Castle we will make an excursion, which will include a visit to: Historical Cellars, Production area, Castle's Gardens & Interiors. After excursion will continue with the tasting of 5 wines and a set of delicious traditional Moldovan and gourmet food appetizers: gravlax salmon with black bread, tomme cheese handmade with pear, pâté with almond rye cracker, mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and olives, and roast beef with wine sauce. The excursion at Castle Mimi Winery lasts about 90 minutes.
