Private Tour to Gerês N. Park from Porto with Waterfalls & Nature
About This Experience
Escape the city and discover Peneda-Gerês National Park, Portugal’s only national park, on a full-day private tour from Porto or Braga. Travel comfortably in an electric vehicle with a local guide and enjoy a personalised experience through northern Portugal’s wild landscapes. Visit iconic sites such as Mizarela Bridge, Fecha das Barjas waterfall, known as the “Tahiti of Gerês”, Pedra Bela viewpoint and the crystal-clear Portela do Homem waterfall. Along the way, pass traditional villages and stone granaries that reveal the region’s rural heritage. Enjoy a regional lunch at a local restaurant and taste authentic local flavours. Depending on the season, you may also try Ermelo oranges, a recognised Slow Food product. End the day in Ponte de Lima, one of Portugal’s oldest towns, before returning after a tour that combines nature, culture, gastronomy and sustainable travel.
