About This Experience
The discovery day is different from the others: it includes a day aboard a van, as well as a one-hour immersive experience in a Willys jeep. Aboard a comfortable 9-seater van, discover the Normandy landing beaches with a local guide. From Utah Beach to the Colleville-sur-Mer cemetery, via the areas where the American paratroopers landed, it's a real trip back in time to discover these historic and moving places while receiving many personal anecdotes. of Norman soldiers and civilians. The best part of this visit? We suggest, for an hour, leaving the comfort of the van to discover the Normandy countryside and the landing zones of the paratroopers of the 101st airborne division aboard a real Willys jeep from the Second World War! What could be better than revving the jeep's engine to discover the shaded paths and sometimes little-known stories in the heart of the Normandy countryside?
