Aveiro, Coimbra and Fatima Private Tour from Oporto with pick up
About This Experience
Embark on a captivating tour from Porto that takes you through three extraordinary destinations: Aveiro, Coimbra, and Fátima. In Aveiro, often called the 'Venice of Portugal', marvel at the colorful striped houses of Costa Nova and explore the Aveiro Museum, a treasure trove of religious art housed in a former convent. Don't miss the traditional salt pans, a testament to the region's salt-making heritage. Coimbra, a venerable seat of learning, is home to the ancient University of Coimbra, a UNESCO World Heritage site with its stunning Joanina Library. The Old Cathedral of Coimbra offers a glimpse into Romanesque architecture, while the Botanical Garden and Santa Cruz Monastery provide serene and historical escapes. Finally, Fátima, a revered pilgrimage site, invites spiritual exploration at the Sanctuary of Our Lady, the pastoral House of the Little Shepherds, and the evocative Via Sacra. The Wax Museum vividly recounts the story of the Marian apparitions.
