2 Day Cairo and Alexandria Private Tour from Port Said
About This Experience
Two cities, two days, one private guide who handles every road between them while your cruise ship waits at Port Said. Day one runs to Cairo for the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. Day two heads the other direction to Alexandria, the Mediterranean city Alexander the Great founded, for the catacombs, the Roman amphitheatre, and the seafront where the ancient Lighthouse once stood. Both days are fully private, just your group, your Egyptologist, and an air-conditioned vehicle. The drives are real (Port Said to Cairo is about 3 hours, to Alexandria longer), so this suits travelers who value depth over a single frantic day. Ideal for Suez Canal cruise guests with two days ashore who want both the pharaonic and the Greco-Roman side of Egypt.
